The DOGS manga and anime series and its sequel, DOGS: Bullets & Carnage is set in a dystopic universe where the underground is ruled by an organization that performs genetic engineering experiments and acts of extreme violence. Dogs is composed of four loosely connected stories that revolve around one of the four characters, while the DOGS: Bullets & Carnage sequel focuses on these four characters as they collaborate to find an entrance to the underground. The manga was first published in 2001 as Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark and later in 2005, the series began again as what we all know (and love)!
