It’s almost 2024! I wanted to come on here and reflect a little. It’s been a while since I’ve posted an actual journal entry and I missed it! There was a time when I used to blog every day.
I never really stuck to my new year resolutions, but I feel like if I record them down somewhere, I can get more motiviation to actually strive towards those goals? I’m being hopeful, at least!
Things I want to bring into my life:
- Prioritizing my mental and physical health
- Start painting, drawing, doodling again
- Taking more pictures of everything; documenting more memories
- Talking to my inner circle more often on a deeper level
- Writing more; work on a novel and start writing poetry again
- Getting into the habit of putting me first
- A better sleep schedule
Things I want to phase out:
- Impulse spending
- Feeling afraid of trying new things and getting out of my comfort zone
- Talking down to myself; thinking negatively and using depreciating humor as a coping mechanism when I feel like shit
- Unhealthy eating habits
I’ll add more if I think of anything else, but I think those are good for now? Wish me luck.
